Hello, my name is Thassaneeya Tangtrakul (Cee) and I am honored to serve as the School Director of Lovell International School. Hi, my name is Tom, I am from Birmingham, England. I have been teaching for 10 years. For the first 5 years I taught at schools in England, I then move to Thailand to teach at international schools around Thailand. I have taught children from Nursery up to Year 3 across all subjects. I specialise in Early Reading, Writing and Mathematics. The parts of teaching that I enjoy most are the little moments when something clicks, I love seeing the joy that these moments bring and how proud and excited the children are of their achievements. I would describe myself as a kind and patient teacher, I listen carefully to the children’s ideas and create opportunities so that they can follow their interests and express themselves creatively. Hello, my name is Mary McMahon and I am from Vancouver, Canada. My teaching journey started some time ago, before I even knew that being and early childhood educator was my career path. I was offered an opportunity to teach kindergarten in Taichung, Taiwan for six months before returning to university to study education. However, this six month adventure turned into ten years of wonder-filled teaching experiences. It was during this time that I fell in love with teaching children in their early years as they are filled with so much wonder and curiosity, experiencing the world for the first time. It was witnessing and being a part of these first encounters that made me realize I needed to know more than experience could teach. I came home to Vancouver and graduated from Capilano University with a BA in Early Childhood Education and Care in 2017. My university curriculum was heavily influenced by the Reggio Emilia philosophy; which is why finding a teaching position at Lovell is such a fantastic opportunity for me as an educator. After graduating from university, I returned to Asia to teach at an international school’s early years program in Chiang Mai, completing my contract in 2019. Since then I have been working in Vancouver as an outdoor educator for local nature school early years programs. I am very excited about joining the Lovell team of educators, meeting the children and getting to know their families.

My name is Mr. Richie, and I am so excited to be your Year 2 and Year 3 teacher at Lovell International School this year. I am from a small but very beautiful country called Ireland, and I have been a teacher for many years. I am very passionate about teaching, and I even spent nine years teaching students in Vietnam before I moved to Thailand. My teaching philosophy is all about critical thinking. I love to inspire the students in my class with fascinating projects and tough challenges to solve. I am really looking forward to teaching English, Maths and Science to all of the Year 2 and Year 3 students this school year who have made such excellent progress – but also challenge them with new subjects like STEM and Computing.

My name is Beth Franks and I am delighted to be working here at Lovell International School teaching our Pre. Nursery class this academic year. I hail from the scenic Ribble Valley in Northern England, UK and I have previously taught in England and in Thailand. I am a passionate believer in the Reggio-Emilia approach and have previous experience teaching in Reggio-Emilia aligned settings in the United Kingdom. Reggio-Emilia promotes independence, imagination and higher order thinking skills amongst learners whilst nurturing their human values. Lovell’s values for the education and development of the children here closely align with my own and I am very excited to see how I can guide our youngest learners over the coming academic year.

Sawasdeeka, my name is Benya Sroyson (Bua), and I am the Thai Language Teacher at Lovell International School. I graduated with a degree in Thai, and I teach students from Pre-Nursery up to Year 4. I believe learning Thai should be enjoyable and practical. In my classes, I focus on play-based activities, interactive games, and daily communication to help children build confidence naturally. I am very happy to be part of the Lovell community and look forward to a great year ahead.

Sawasdeeka! My name is Treechada Rainford. I am 36 years old and dedicated to supporting student development. I hold a language certification from Trinity College London and have trained in Safeguarding at an international level. My experience includes living in the UK for 3 years and working as a One-on-One Teacher at a large international school. Currently, I am continuing my studies while working as a Teaching Assistant at Lovell International School Pattaya, where I enjoy helping our students thrive every day. I am a proud wife and mother of two wonderful daughters.

My name is Miss Emily and I am delighted to be teaching Nursery at Lovell International School this academic year. Originally from the UK, I have spent the past seven years working in an international EYFS school here in Pattaya, supporting young children through some of the most exciting and important stages of their development. For me, Early Years education should feel magical, purposeful and full of possibility. I love working in Forest School and creating an environment where children can wonder, question, build, create, investigate, talk, move, explore and discover who they are as learners. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, I believe deeply in following children’s interests and giving them rich, meaningful experiences through stories, nature, creativity, imaginative play and hands-on discovery. My greatest joy is seeing children grow in confidence, independence and language, while developing strong relationships and a genuine love of learning. Above all, I want every child in my care to feel safe, known, celebrated and genuinely excited to walk through the classroom door each morning, because when children feel happy, confident and curious, extraordinary learning can happen.

My name is Danielle Richardson, and I am delighted to be the Year 3/4 teacher at Lovell International School. I am originally from Cheshire in the UK and have worked in education for over 10 years in the UK and almost 2 years in Thailand. I am a positive, caring and enthusiastic teacher who believes that children learn best when they feel happy, safe and confident. The wellbeing of every child is extremely important to me, and I aim to create a classroom where children feel valued, supported and excited to learn. I encourage children to challenge themselves, stay positive and understand that making mistakes is an important part of learning. I love seeing children grow in confidence, celebrate their achievements and develop a genuine love of learning. Hi, my name is Grace Routledge and I am delighted to be joining Lovell International School as the Pre Nursery teacher this academic year. I am from Nottingham, England, and I graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2025 with a degree in Primary Education, specialising in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). I have always had a passion for working with young children and I am so excited to begin my teaching journey here in Thailand. I believe young children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences. I am passionate about creating a warm and nurturing environment where children feel happy, safe, and confident to learn, while developing their independence, communication, and creativity. I am really looking forward to getting to know each child, celebrating their individual personalities, and watching them grow throughout the year. Hi, my name is Warinpan Yuyuenyong, but everyone calls me Warin. I am a Teaching Assistant in the Nursery classroom. I enjoy working with young children and supporting them as they learn, grow and discover the world around them. As a Teaching Assistant, I enjoy creating a warm, safe and welcoming environment where children feel comfortable to express themselves and explore their interests. My name is Miss Jessica, I am originally from Manchester, UK, but I have spent the last fifteen years living and working in Thailand. I am so grateful and proud to call this beautiful country my home. I have been teaching young learners for over fifteen years and adore this age- group. I have taught in international schools in both Bangkok and Pattaya and I am very excited to be joining the Lovell family. I have three beautiful rescue dogs whom I love to take on adventures. I also love all things art; painting, drawing, sculpting, etc. My newest love is gardening. If I’m home, I’m probably in my garden or painting or painting in my garden with my dogs! In Early Years, we build our self-confidence through exploring our ever-developing independence and a real “I Can Do It!” attitude. We will learn all about the amazing world we live in and how we can grow up to be a successful part of it. I sincerely look forward to learning with your child over the next school year.
